Printing Your Digital Photos: WalMart and many other such stores offer photo printing services in store. Almost all of the web sites listed above also offer printing of the photos you’ve stored there. Here are a few other web sites that print digital photos.
——————–
A couple of things to note:
- Some accounts will expire after a set amount of time if there is no further activity or no prints are ordered.
- Some web sites have restricted access. That is, some web sites require anyone wanting to view the albums to also have an account (WalMart, etc.). This will restrict your viewers to those who have an account and to those willing to sign up just to view your photos. They are not the best option if you’d like people to see your photos.
- Print quality varies. I (Julie) personally vouch for the quality of Iprintfromhome.com as long as the original digital file is of high quality (i.e. good resolution). Iprintfromhome.com is a bit more pricey, but the results are professional/artist quality, the service and shipping fantastic.
- If you aren’t sure what to do, find the “help” or “FAQ” link on the web site. Most have a “get started” button that directs you how to go about uploading the photos on your computer into your new account on their site.
- Email the link to your album. Once you have created an album, email the URL (the location) to me for inclusion on this web site.
- If you really, really need help and you’ve tried everything else, even calling your kids and/or grandkids, and just don’t know what to do, you can email me (Julie). I’ll try to talk you through it.
If you know of other good sites or have further suggestions, please leave them in the comments section below.
