Puerto Cabezas still in need.

Belcer just returned from another trip to Puerto Cabezas. His report is that the members of the church have not received any help or any of the resources that are coming through the government or other organizations. While there, Belcer again purchased a quantity of food that will last for two weeks for the 30 families of the church. Thus far, NRN has received approximately $7700 in donations for relief to Puerto Cabezas; a total of $2750 has already been sent to provide food for the families of the church there, and to make repairs to the church building. NRN plans to continue sending money for food and medical needs, as long as Pastor Belcer deems it necessary.
Belcer is requesting that NRN, if possible, provide the resources to rebuild the 4 houses of church members that were destroyed by Hurricane Felix. Each house will cost approximately $4000.
To do this NRN will need additional donations. Please consider making a contribution to this worthy cause. Any contributions (earmarked for Puerto Cabezas) should be sent to:
Nicaragua Resource Network
5535 E. 131st Street

Thanks to those of you who have already given donations and to those who are giving consideration to making a donation in the future.
